Education & Teaching Experience
I have a B.S. and M.S. Degree in Early Childhood Development, as well as an Ed.S. Degree in Curriculum Instruction & Design. As a 17-year veteran teacher, I have experience in Pre-K-3rd grades. I have served as an RtI (Response to Intervention) lead teacher for two years in first and second grades.
A Different Approach to Learning
Individuals are taught to read through meaningful application, repetitious exercises, and instruction in learning the rules and patterns of phonics.
Customized Learning Plans
Students are assessed individually to customize a learning track to suit their reading needs and level of understanding.
Becoming an Independent Reader
Students have left my class as young as Pre-K knowing how to read phonemically to excel in the next level of instruction to become an independent reader.
About Us
As an elementary teacher, I have witnessed first-hand the need for additional phonemic instruction outside of school to increase student reading fluency. Students should have a firm foundation of how to read phonemically by the end of their first-grade year, when reading becomes a more independent task. Second-grade instruction should be used to refine these skills in order for children to perform successfully on standardized tests by third grade. For these reasons, I created Phonics for Hire Tutoring Service, LLC as a tool to teach individuals to read phonemically. Phonics for Hire has you covered in ensuring reading success!

Phonics for Hire Virtual Phonics Program for Children & Adults
We understand that struggling to read is also prevalent in teens and adults, but can be an uncomfortable subject to reach out and get help for. So this program would work perfectly because you can remain visually anonymous while working at your own pace. Instead of a live virtual meeting at the end of each week, prerecorded and written exchanges can be made available. Costs include a $100 annual fee to cover the purchase of the Nessy Reading and Spelling Program and $25 a week for a 30-minute tutoring session to review your lesson track. Use the link below!
